Annet Mahendru

Mahendru is the daughter of a Russian mother and a Hindu Indian father in Afghanistan. She speaks fluently with German Russian and English and also speaks French Persian and Hindi. Annet Mahendru, born in India, to her Russian father as well as an Indian mother, speaks fluently in both languages. When she was 11, she choreographed a performance that gained her an appearance on German television as a beautiful Russian snow maiden that turns into an energetic Indian dancer. After high school, she graduated with a bachelor's diploma in English at the University of New York. She was a student of improv and comedy at Groundlings School after leaving HB Studio. Her parents were Hindu as well as an Indian father, Ghanshan K Mahendru, an Indian father, and a Russian mom Olga. The family moved together with their father to East Meadow, New York, when she was 13 year old. She appears on FX's The Americans alongside Matthew Rhys. Television actress best known for her role as the former KGB Agent Nina Sergeevna Krilova on FX's The Americans. Also, she played recurring characters in The Following, a Fox show The Following as well as NBC's The Blacklist.
